Thai Herbal Compression Therapy is a traditional Thai treatments which involves a herbal massage using a special blend of herbs which are collected, put into a muslin cloth, and tied into a ball. The muslin cloth is then steamed so that the healing and soothing properties of the herbs are intensified. The therapist then uses this to rub hot oil across the body.
Typically, a Thai Herbal Ball (HB) contains specific South-East Asian herbs such as tamarind, kaffir leaves, lemongrass, shikakai, mangosteen, ginger and many more.
Thai HB massage is only carried out by a senior therapist and brings a great deal of benefits to the traditional Thai massage.
